Based on the Expressionist play by Frank Wedekind that caused a scandal in 19th-century Germany, this bold yet poignant rock musical, with its acclaimed score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, follows a group of teenagers as they cope with the agonies and ecstasies of discovering their sexuality in all its varieties.
