Judy, our guide, was wonderful. The dumplings were perfect - good selection and an ample serving! The "street food" was outstanding. Lollicup was very unique with the dried fruits and jerkies, etc. Not a lot of walking. Don't miss this tour!

We just got home from the Dumpling Tour in Arcadia. Mike is a great tour guide. He really likes his work and it shows. He took us to Din Tai Fung Dumpling House which is the first time we ever ate Pork Dumplings. Learning Tea etiquette and other aspects of Taiwanese culture is done in a relaxed atmosphere. We will not be nervous about eating at a place like this again.

Going to SinBala was fabulous. Great food, very attentive and respectful service. we bought some sausage to take home. Cozy Cafe and Chang's Garden will be getting our business in the future. JJ's Bakery was a real eye opener and it is so popular.

For people like us who are experienced in other culture foods, this was a real big help since Taiwanese cuisine was not clearly understood until Mike walked us through the learning.

You will get plenty to eat and you will buy things along the way or backtrack after the tour to fill your bag.

Getting the tour at 1/2 price through Goldstar made it an even better deal. Strongly recommend this tour for others and we will be looking at doing other tours with them.

Michael is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He did an outstanding job explaining the food we were eating. I enjoyed all of the foods. I especially enjoyed the Taiwanese shaved ice. This was a new dish for me & very delicious.

This was my 2nd Six Taste Tour and I was equally impressed both times. The guide Michael was super. He was knowledgable and fun and caring and made it a terrific experience for the adults and our 7 year old son (who could have easily gotten bored on a 5 hour tour!) You definitely get your money's worth on these tours and they teach you so much you feel like you are traveling to a different part of the world, not your backyard in LA. I highly recommend this tour and the one I took of Little Tokyo - but this one might have been even more fun (and less walking!)
