Savor Los Angeles is hosting its premiere event: a tasting of sweet treats from local businesses that will take place at Miauhaus Studios in the historic Miracle Mile area. The participating businesses are chosen for their commitment to sustainable business--including using fresh, organic ingredients and offering vegan alternatives--as well as care and attention to flavor and presentation. Guests will be invited to sample dessert delicacies from the vendors, as well as enjoying many other refreshments and fun activities.

The desserts were great. Glad we got there on time because it looked like some of the booths ran out of tastings. I do not think it was worth the ticket price though.

I agree w/ those that posted re:the 45 minutes wait on the street to simply get in...ridiculous. Long lines for a glass of champagne, dessert, etc. Vendors sold out of certain items. Not worth the ticket price or the drive. Sorry but that's the truth. Will not attend another event offered by same organizer. Wish we didn't go...Waste of money. Oh, as a footnote, the food truck out front of the Gallery was the best thing there! Was happy to pay and get some great food :)

The vendors were terrific, all the desserts were tasty and folks were very nice, we did have to wait in line though for about 45 minutes!
On the street, not cool. I would not attend another event by these organizers just for that reason.

Savor Los Angeles, presented by PARALLEL LINES, will host its kick-off premiere event showcasing an exclusive set of best-of-best Los Angeles purveyors of sweet treats. The event will take place at the eminent Miauhaus Studios in the historic Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. A 10,000+ sq. ft. playground featuring multiple rooms, elegant high ceilings and a charming open-air patio.

An intimate unique gathering, Savor Los Angeles focuses on a select set of like-minded businesses. Participating establishments are chosen for their emphasis on fresh and organic ingredients, alternatives to high-fructose corn syrup, vegan offerings, presentation & design, and good olʼ overall yumminess. The result is an environment that feels luxurious, genuine and exciting. Guests are invited to sample an assortment of delectable delicacies from BabyCakes NYC/LA, Frosted Cupcakery, Gotta Have Sʼmore, NʼiceCream, p.o.p. candy co., Plaisir, Popcakes, Pure Cheesecakes, Sweets For The Soul, The Crosby, and XT Patisserie.

Ticket holders can also expect the evening to include a slow roast coffee brew bar provided by Intelligentsia, champagne & paired beverages, juices from IZZE, a cheese and fruit bar, libations from PAMA Liqueur, raffles, music, a photobooth, gift bags, and (as part of PARALLEL LINESʼ commitment to minimizing waste) sustainable water company Boxed Water will be joining the fun on the 30th as well. As a sweets lovers paradise, it will be a place for Angelenos to discover new eats or have old favorites in an invigorating atmosphere that titillates the palate.
