Benefitting Shanti and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the one-night-only show features a lineup of stars from Broadway, TV and the recording industry. Tony Award-winner Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) directs this brand new revue bringing the famed mid-1960s comedy albums of Grammy-winner Bob Booker (The First Family) to glorious life. This hilarious and good-natured collection of 25 comedy sketches and songs is woven around the story of a nice Jewish boy who happens to want to marry an equally lovely Gentile girl. First, though, the chosen shiksa could use a little introducing to some of the culture's colorful traditions.
