We loved the event. Great music and lots of great singers. Our favorite muscian was Dave Koz.
We even rode down in the elevator with Burt Bacharach!

K. Hurlburt.

This yearly event is usually very good and this year was no exception. What made it special was the concert version of Promises, Promises where the male lead was exceptional!

I LOVE what this event stands for. As for the event itself, it was somewhat of a disappointment compared with past shows. Perhaps because of the type of songs Bacharach wrote, many of the regulars from previous seasons were absent this time. ...continued

Never has an event worked SO HARD to remove every single shred of joy out of Burt Bacharach's extensive groovy fun witty songs. The director/musical arranger should be taken out into the back alley and put out of his misery. Turning Burt's jolly...continued

Somehow I found the first and second halves of the show to be almost parts of different shows. I didn't care for the first act where the songs revolved around a story. I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of the show where the performers simply...continued

This event was filled with excellent talent. The acting, singing and costumes were exceptional. I am a former New Yorker and this one could have been on Broadway. Being a true fan of Bacharach, it was a worthy tribute to this Master. I shed a...continued

I thought overall this tribute was wonderful. My main complaint is that the Wilshire Theatre venue is so much larger and more cavernous than for the former Luckman Theatre so therefore a lot of audience intimacy is lost for those patrons in the...continued

Stage has done some wonderful shows in the past, but this is not one of the better ones. Some fault may lie in the location, as they are at the Wilshire and no longer at the Luckman. The Luckman is a much better house. Another difference is the...continued

I wasn't aware that the production was a fund raiser with raffles and drawings and awards, etc. Those unexpected extras consumed much time and we left after the first act.
