Country western or gospel music fans might be put off by this one....I Loved it! This production ROCKS! I had not seen the play nor the film before, and I was captivated by the characters and the plot. The singing was totally believeable; I would have guessed that the actor playing Hedwig had originated the role. Of course I have no benchmark, but I will be interested to rent the DVD now. Technically the sets and lighting and special sound and fog effects were spot-on. I really enjoyed it, and I'm not just saying that because I love just about everything Cygnet offers!
Go see this.

It was a great time. Amazing show and very intimate venue. The only negative thing is the band drowned out a lot of the singing.
Simply loved it. I had seen the film version and loved the music, and after seeing this I prefer the stage version. Planning on seeing it again.
