We had a blast! The food was fantastic and everyone was so pleasant and informative. The tour not only gave samples of everything but you can buy whatever you enjoyed to enjoy it later. We didn't pace ourselves and got a little full, so keep in mind you eat the whole 3 hours. The walk was not long and it was very informative of the Japanese/American culture of down town. Just bring a hat or umbrella for those hot days.

Even if I am an LA resident for the past 10 years, Little tokyo would have remained one of LA's best kept secrets (to me) if not for this tour.
Jeff (our tour guide and co-owner) has done a great job in leading the tour and in a way helped promote Little Tokyo.
Everybody who reviewed this event is right though, come hungry, there are a lot of food, especially at Spitz (I can't wait to go back there again). I was so full by the end of the tour that I didn't even have dinner.
So come on people, be a tourist in your own town, or treat your out of towners friends. Spread the word. I'm telling you, for the Goldstar price that we spent, we definitely got more than we paid for. What a fun time we had! Thanks to Jeff and of course to Goldstar!
P.S. My husband and I went back again (this time bringing along 9 friends)to Spitz a month after our tour and they still accepted the 10% discount that were given to us. Just let them know that you were part of the Little Tokyo tour. The food was still as yummy as ever. Can't wait to go back there again.

My husband, Tom and I had a wonderful time at this event. Even though we are both native Californians, we knew little about Little Tokyo. We learned some interesting facts and ate some very delicious food. It was a beautiful day and the other people on the tour were all very amiable.
Our tour guide, TaTa made everything run very smoothly. All the food venues were great.
