I love the Ruskin, and love Shanley. Neither disappointed me in this production. John Collela was superb as usual, I saw him previously in Unfaithful, and his... continued

John Collela is a very engaging lead man, but it wasn't necessary with this very intelligent script. If you like a story that reminds you to peel back the layers of the onion to see what's truly inside - see this. Very, very entertaining!

Had a great time. The acting was up to par and the story line enjoyable and entertaining. The venue is intimate and allows for one to be engrossed into the story. Definitely worth seeing.

Excellent acting and writing. Funny. I really enjoyed this play. I think I've been to Ruskin Theater 3 times now and have never been disappointed.

We purchased these tickets on a whim, based upon Goldstar reviews, prices and Shanley. We cannot recommend this production highly enough. How blessed we are to have access to quality theatre in LA for little more than the price of a movie! GO.

Excellent casting and acting. The play has the voice of John Patrick Shanley, but I think it should be staged in front of a larger audience to get more feedback/reaction... continued

What a terrific ensemble of actors! They each took "risks" as actors with their emotions. Nothing false or "cardboard". Great script and directing as well. Wonderful experience!

The wonderful cast did not let down Shanley's great dialogue. A couple of jumped laughs only points out the challenges of live theater. I thought that the Aunt might... continued

Very nice comedy, the whole family including my 12 years old son enjoyed it. Great acting, story is very funny the first half, little more serious the second.

The dialogue is rythmic and different. Reminds me of Shakespeare. The plot was well thought out and the acting outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyable and I would highly recommend it.
