With their marriage crumbling, a husband and wife acting team performing in a repertory company in Buffalo in 1953 try to keep things together long enough to get Frank Capra to cast them in his film remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. But between a pregnant ingénue, and a surprise visit from their daughter, things go horribly and comically wrong. Moon Over Buffalo is written by Ken Ludwig who created the hit backstage farce Lend me a Tenor. Moon Over Buffalo ran for more than 300 performances on Broadway. Directed by Buffalo Theatre Ensemble Artistic Director Connie Canaday Howard, the production features ensemble actors Amelia Barrett, Bryan Burke and Loretta Hauser. Learn More

I thought the performance was very nice. My wife is actually the ballet fan, and she was quite impressed by the show. This was our first Goldstar performance, and everything went very smoothly. We went straight to will-call, and the tickets were given to us hassle free.Written on Jan 12 2010

My husband and I loved the performance and were mesmerized by the dancers who told the story very well indeed. I would definitely go and see the Moscow Festival Ballet again if they were anywhere in our area.Written on Jan 12 2010

Gorgeous costumes. Good dancers. Wasn't happy with choreography or telling of story. Didn't feel that the dancing effectively told the story.Written on Jan 11 2010

This was a great performance. Such power and grace. Top-class ballet skills - pure Russian school.Written on Jan 11 2010
The downside of the show was lack of information on the performing artists and the act itself on behalf of the organizers.

Description
Performing Sleeping Beauty as a full-length ballet in three acts, this 50-member company brings Charles Perrault’s classic fairytale with poignant music by Tchaikovsky to life. Founded by the Bolshoi’s legendary principal dancer, Sergei Radchenko, the Moscow Festival Ballet weaves a timeless love story of a beautiful maiden who is condemned to die by an evil fairy and sleeps for 100 years until the dashing Prince Florimund awakens her with a kiss.
