Cool theater with intimate atmosphere. It's like watching a movie with friends at someone's house except it's bigger. There are even couches in the front rows. The show was great, really enjoyed it! I wish they included title of all the movies...continued

I saw The Tin Drum when it came out in 1979 and it was great to be able to see the remastered, "director's cut" with restored footage never shown then. This is a great theater and I look forward to future screenings there. Thanks for introducing...continued

A little known (in USA) cinematic gem! To say it's a feckin amazing 'Japanese no time no budget 4 hour comic action dramatic controversial masterpiece' is an understatement. Best I can say is after the 4 hour film finished I wished it hadn't. Left...continued

Cartoon Night. A good selection of Jay Ward and Tex Avery shorts. Missed the mark by omitting Peabody & Sherman. Unfortunately, the pre- and intermission DJ music was so loud, I was waiting for Abe Simpson to yell, "Turn it up!" Conversation...continued

Cinefamily, aka Silent Movie Theatre, manages to bring unique and obscure films and articulate directors to its screenings. The Q & A with Robert Flaxman, director of 1976's "labor of Love" was especially illuminating.

The Silent Movie Theatre was packed for the two-night showing of "La Dolce Vita." The print was gorgeous and to see Rome and its beautiful people and eccentric characters circa 1960 was great.
