One of Verde's best operas, with the lead role being performed by Placido Domingo. What can I say? It was great stuff!!

Fantastic opera. Domingo sang beautifully and with great emotion. Loved the numerous trios and quartets with the voices blending spectacularly. Quite a treat...

Loved it. I took my 15 year old son to his first opera. I am glad he was able to hear such a stellar performance.

Not exactly Verdi's best known work but the Placebo and company did fine.

Great singing, beautiful Verdi music. I can see what it is not as popular as his other works as the story is such a downer. There wasn't one happy or funny moment. Sets were very interesting and worked well

It was a marvelous production of an opera I wasn't familiar with. The pre opera talk with Conlon, the conductor definitely added to the enjoyment and understanding of Verdi and the opera.
