Jeff Goldblum is so quirky and convincing as Leonard in this intellectual fox trot. This is a great "lets-do-something-different-for-a-change" night out. It got us thinking: How many of us have had professors/bosses/parents that seemed like such...continued

For a play that had to do with writers it was so poorly written.

Seminar was well acted, but the writing was somewhat disappointing. Very conventional storyline.

Not a literary giant but competent and funny. All cast did a good job portraying their characters. Fell the story line lost some punch toward the end but overall an enjoyable evening.

Funny and intelligent! Seminar was the best play I have seen in a long time and Jeff Goldblum was amazing!!!

Know that this is a comedy like "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" is a comedy. It is about using language to wound, so one tends to cringe just as one is laughing. The performances are all equally superb, but know that the characters range from...continued

I enjoyed this play. Having been in many writing workshops (seminars) I found the satire insightful. Not to be a spoiler, but I will say the majority of people that I have met in workshops, and "open mics," including myself are dilettantes....continued

If "Seminar" hadn't been recommended to me by an editor at the L.A. Times, who had seen it in NY, I would have had no idea what it was about. Thank you, Steve Padilla! I wouldn't have missed this for anything! I'm already a fan of Theresa...continued

Jeff Goldblum and the cast were simply superb. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon enjoying the theater and having a few laughs at the same time. Definitely a must see.

This play is much better, more fun, and more interesting than the hype! This promo blurb is misleading: "They soon find themselves attending a master class in ruthless and reckless behavior where writing is a blood sport, words are deadly...continued

Very enjoyable show. Yes, it's definitely a comedy, with one or two intelligent things to say about what makes good writing. There's really nothing deep about this show. It uses clever devices to keep your interest, sometimes just cheap tricks,...continued

The theatre is very well designed. Our seats were good. I liked the play. The evening was a good change of pace from the usual dinner & a movie. Getting downtown from Beverly Hills and/or Hollywood to have dinner near the theatre at 6 or 6:30...continued

Yay, hubby and I got a rare, well-deserved date night! This was a smart, funny play. Jeff Goldblum was his quirky but smart, sassy self. He was a great lead but for us, neurotic Aya Cash stole the show. A naughty scene by Jennifer Ikeda and...continued

While I appreciated the young actors, I felt Jeff Goldblum was miscast; he's a bit too sleek and fit to play a writer on the downhill side of a literary career. The play contains predictable plot and character, though the ending does...continued

Some very funny moments, clever writing, and a convincing performance by Jeff Goldblum. But not enough to give it must see status.
