Very interesting show. Probably would have been a better play without the music. The music did not add to the show. There are certainly no tunes that I can recall the next day. Still, the topic of the show and presentation was most thought...continued

As usual, the Cygnet does a wonderful job with whatever it chooses to undertake. It's a Sondheim show, interesting and clever as they all are. And it's an interesting lesson in history with a couple of moments that completely stop the show dead...continued

Very enjoyable show. An unusual but interesting premise. All of the performers were quite good and a few were excellent. Definitely worth seeing.

IMAGINATIVE STORY INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCES. SONDHEIM'S MUSIC CAN BE DIFFICULT TO PERFORM; BUT EVERY PERFORMANCE WAS GREAT. A FIRST-CLASS PRODUCTION IN A LOVELY INTIMATE THEATRE.

Very clever and informative presentation. Most seats seemed to have a good view of the stage in this charming theatre. Wonderful actors, some with much better voices than others. As an entertainment choice however I didn't care for glorifying...continued

If you like Sondheim, it's worth going. Great cast and direction, everyone was well-cast and had great voices. Granted, it's not his best-known work, and the concept is unusual and macabre, but it was much better than I thought it would be.

The cast was top-notch, and the play--about a pretty dark subject--was far more amusing and interesting than I'd expected.

I enjoyed it because of the performance of John Wilkes Booth and the two women in the cast. Actually the cast as a whole was excellent. I love Stephen Sondheim but this probably doesn't rank quite high up there was one of my favorites of his...continued

This was the wrong time for this show (all about guns, shooting someone to relieve your frustration, anger, injustices in life, etc.). For me, it was too close to home with the current situation in this country. Years ago it may have been a...continued

Brilliant show, very well performed. All performances were very good, with the actors playing Oswald/The Balladeer, Guiteau, and Sara Jane Moore being standouts. Bravi.

Very intriguing play, looking at the underside of the American dream from the standpoint of presidential assassins. The music was enjoyable and keyed to the era of the characters. The most interesting (and even sympathetic) character was Leon...continued

Really enjoyed my experience ~ Assassins was memorable, well played and edgy; disturbing, thought-provoking and at the same time humorous. Cygnet Theater was a very intimate venue; would attend another show there in a heartbeat (as long as...continued

This was a *terrific* show. The actor playing Booth and actress playing Moore were definite stand-outs but the others were very good, tool. They all received a well-deserved standing ovation. I like the way this theatre is laid-out: the person...continued

The cast was fabulous. They had terrific voices and acting skills. However, Sondheim's play itself was not that engaging.
