Well done by Morgan-Wixson, as usual. Joe Orton wrote this comedy in 1966 yet the satire rings true today, especially his take on the medical establishment, the government, religion and, of course, sex.

Did not find it very funny. Seats were on the side but OK. Small theater so not really a bad seat anywhere. Parking easy at a nearby city parking lot.

This production was abysmal! The fault probably lies largely with the director, who had the actors all facing out to deliver their lines to the audience rather than the people on stage who they were supposedly talking to. (The actors probably...continued

The best thing I could say at this play was that the theatre was pleasant and the sets were professional.

The play itself was terrible
The script simply was not funny and being British myself I can tell you the actors did not sound British. They...continued

What this audience member did not see....1. a butler, 2. something funny that that butler might have seen, 3. scenery without teethmarks on it, 4. good acting and directing. I found it painful and cringeworthy and left at the intermission. Sorry,...continued

It was my first time at the theatre in Santa Monica & I did like the place. The play was a so-so & if you'd ask me if I would recommend the play to my friends, the answer will have to be a no.

Good work by all actors at pacing. Nice set & costumes. Director held things together well. One problem was that the stage was too big for this show, as was the set. Overall, a good time was had by all.

Very good play. Keeps you laughing in this traditional farce. Venue is very nice, established theater.

I liked the play, but my husband had a difficult time with the accents of the cast.

The cast was great and really gave it their best, but the show fell short...to say it nicely. British humor is not everyone's "cup of tea," and it certaintly wasn't for this crowd. We made it through Act 1 without a single laugh. Ouch!

Had a great theater experience. The box office opens at 7:30 p.m. (half hour before the show starts). They should open the box office at 7 p.m. so that the line to get tickets isn't so long. ALSO: they originally gave me seats that were occupy...continued

It's a very good play, very funny lines. Several people said that it was too slow, the pacing was off, but I think they problem was lack of tension and intensity. The best performance was Frank Weidner as "Nicholas Beckett" - he played the part...continued

Goldstar's service was outstanding, as always. I thought that the theater was lovely and that the play was clever and funny. It was fast-paced and rather intellectual, which I appreciate; and I had to stay alert to catch all of the irony and...continued
