I misunderstood the program when I purchased tickets. I mainly wanted to go because Derek Hough was appearing, and the title was "Dance Fever," so I thought it was a dance program. It was the LA Philharmonic performing featuring Derek Hough, so...continued

The venue at Santa Anita Park is inferior to the previous Arboretum location. The walk from the parking lot to the green forces you to go through a tunnel both in and out with a noise level that is so unsettling it takes away much of the...continued

First impressions set the tone, so to start with: How bleepin' DARE they charge $15.00 for parking? Sure, we could have cruised the streets and schlepped our picnic a mile or two to the racetrack, but still . . . To compound the outrage, another...continued

We enjoyed it. However, it was misrepresented. Derek Hough danced only TWICE!!
We went to the event to see him dance and when his dancing consumed only about 10-15 minutes of the program it was extremely disappointing.

I was really disappointed. I expected more dance music as the event was titled "Dance Fever". Derek Hough only danced twice!! Most of the music played was sad - not at all joyfull. Derek did sing twice and did a good job of it.

Plenty of parking spaces but kind of expensive. Not to many options for food vendors and also expensive. Less expensive to bring your own food and drinks. Got upgraded to a table which was a very pleasant surprise!! Beautiful music. I would...continued

Delightful evening. Piano fabulous. Vocalists very good. Great music, nice venue, very well organized. Nice touch - students offering to carry chairs.

Lawn seating seemed more comfortable than table seating. Except for being able to hear...continued

Wonderful show, beautiful setting -- a great evening. We relaxed with friends and enjoyed an eclectic mix of music performed by the Cal Symphony -- even had the extra pleasure of watching Derek Hough dance and hearing him sing. Would recommend...continued

We loved the conference but were disappointed with the seating. I thought that my Red Velvet membership and the Section B Special would mean better seating than we got. We were seated at a table (185) that was one table from the edge of the...continued

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The parking charge of $14.00 must be factored in when buying the tickets as it is disproportionate to the ticket price and significantly raises the expense for the evening. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

Beautigul setting and concert was very good. Performed Andrew Lloyd Webber and Puccini so well. The singing artists were excellent.

Cal Phil. What can be better? Wonderful venue. Jazz on the green while dining beforehand. Punctual start with a respectful audience. Spectacular performance. Wonderful eve enjoying the pleasures of an L.A. summer outdoors.

Venue is difficult to find due to a lack of signage and an incorrect address; the concert is NOT at 285 W. Huntington as indicated in the offer. We were seated in section A and there was constant flow of people entering and exiting the venue near...continued

Great great venue and an amazing orchestra. Great to take kids and introduce to classical music. Loved the fact we could pack our own picnic basket etc. free pony rides and free face painting as well,

I took my mom who is in a wheelchair and it worked out really well. There are plenty of volunteer helpers to aid you to your seat. I really needed one when I had purchased food, which my helper carried while I pushed my mom. The bench seats...continued
