The play is intense, disturbing, painful even - like humans, like war. The acting is strong and the time absolutely flew by. And you know time flys.... They have a full bar for before and during.

Before the play I wasn't sure what it could be about, Bengal tigers and the Baghdad Zoo? After the play, I'm still not sure what it was about. Anti-War? Greed? Racism? Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the play, when viewed as a series of skits...continued

Good script/good acting and well worth the ticket price. It's a two hour play that passes quickly and makes you think and laugh. Friendly theater.

A very powerful, moving play. This was the first preview and I thought the acting and staging were very strong.

Odd but interesting story but I was annoyed by the loud overacting actors who played the soldiers. They need to bring it down about 10-fold in speaking their lines as it sounded unnatural. There were countless swear words and very crude sexual...continued

Everybody, do yourself a favor and go see everything and anything that Craig Marker or Gabriel Marin is in (or, in this case, two for the price of one!). Also very strong performances from Kuros Charney (a sweet and troubled Iraqi interpreter)...continued

A provacative and interesting, if somewhat flawed, script. Excellent acting all artound, but one of the main characters (Tom, the older but not wiser Marine) doesn't much change or grow, and I found it hard to connect with him or sympathize. The...continued

Very sensitive and thoughtful production with better than New York, great acting. Needed a stronger tiger for it to have been perfection.

I attended a preview performance, therefore, a review is somewhat premature.

Loved the play - unique, weird and compelling. Good sound and direction. Excellent acting by most of the cast.

I enjoyed the production, but not sure I totally understood what message it was trying to convey. The performances were good, and of course, the horrors of war were apparent, but I couldn't get immersed in the story.
The theater is a joy, all...continued

very well acted, good staging, but tighter direction and some editing of the script would improve the play. it's a rather large stage viewed by an intimate audience so if you're seated to the side, as we were, you can feel left out as the action...continued

If you're looking for 'light' fare, "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" may not be the play to see. It's disquieting, thought-provoking story-telling and not necessarily easy on its audience. Rajiv Joseph deals in reality, in the grayness and...continued
