I have seen this play before, and I thought that the Keegan did an excellent job with it. The play is well suited to the intimate, somewhat creepy theatre. Tension and surprise were used effectively. Many of us screamed. A good scary evening.

A solid four star performance on Sunday, November 3rd. By the end of this upcoming week, it will be a solid five star performance. Timing will be even better. Very clever... continued

Well-acted and nice scenery, but much scarier and sadder than I had expected or planned for!

Theater is always cold, making it uncomfortable. Play isn't what we thought it would be. Acting was very good, story didn't pull us in.

We thought that the play was sophmoric and silly. The two actors were very good but the play was confusing and not even entertaining to the three of us. We all felt the... continued

We took a friend visiting from England. She had seen the show at the West End in London on a big stage so she was anxious to compare. She loved the Keegan production and... continued

The story itself is not terribly original, but it is well staged and I thought both actors were good...and then there is the surprise ending!

A really good ghost story very well acted. Two hours long with a 15 min intermission.

Yet another great performance from Keegan Theatre. I love how minimalist the sets and casting are. It allowed me to use my imagination which I'm sure was far spookier... continued

Like many two-character plays, this one tended to be more of a narration rather than an enactment. My wife and a female friend liked it very much, however, so maybe the fault is mine. As always at the Keegan, the production values were excellent.

What a fitting way to spend Halloween night! I wasn't prepared for it to be a two-person play but it didn't make a whit of difference - the atmosphere was suitably... continued

The Keegan's production of Stephen Malatratt's long-running, two-character West End chiller -- a clever play-within-a-play retelling of Susan Hill's 1983 novel -- is... continued

A chilling ghost tale with a twist in the end. Masterfully performed by Rob Leembruggen and Matthew Keenan. Just bring your imagination and get 'spooked'.

Excellent acting. Storyline was a bit tricky to follow at times.

Great show and great acting. Don't miss it if you like suspense thrillers. Young teens are fine .... small children will be frightened.

Fantastic acting, a fun and transportive set, an engrossing story and a few real jump-in-your-seat scares to boot.

I thought this play was very well done. Having seen the film, I wasn't sure how the story could be brought to life on stage by only 2 actors, but the framing device... continued

This was one of the best plays I've seen in my life and I'm no Spring Chicken! The actors are amazingly realistic, the sets perfectly versatile and the story intensely engaging. I look forward to my next Keegan Theatre experience!
