Dialogue was hard (someltimes impossible) to hear from balcony. Play was not very interesting in any event. Themes (such as they were) seemed outdated.

Maybe it was because both my wife & I were tired, but the play was very slow moving and both of us started to nod off near end of 1st half. So we didn't stay for 2nd. Maybe it was better. The seats were good and we love the old theatre

Balcony seats are really miserable, so uncomfortable and tight and no space for legs. Mezzanine doesn't look a lot better. The play was well done, and acting good. But the play is really far too long, not as witty as I remember from reading it...continued

Remarkable show. A period piece but a very competent demonstration of the genius of GB Shaw. Enjoyed it.

The production was absolutely perfect - great and provacative script (even a hundred years later!), excellent acting, brilliant set. Unfortunately for anyone who wants to see it Sunday was the last performance. But open your minds to George...continued

Major Barabara is a major snooze. The theater was cold and drafty with fans blowing nonstop. I was freezing. It was warmer outside when we left at intermission. I tried suffering through the first act by taking a nap, but the people onstage...continued

A great classic play with solid actors and an inventive set. A timely, thoughtful production that will leave you thinking about its central themes.

My husband and I attended this event. It was a requirement for a class and if it were not, I would have walked out. The seats were uncomfortable, the performances were forced, the scenery hideous, and I was miserable feeling I was letting...continued

Went with three friends. Shaw play was classic clever timeless and thoughtful. Price couldn't be beat at $18 each including handling charges. We were in the very top row...Nosebleed territory but the sound and view were terrific. I brought glasses...continued

We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Considering it was a preview the actors carried it off without a hitch. We enjoyed the excellence of the portrayal of the protagonists. If you like George Bernard Shaw or just good acting; GO.

We loved this production and were up-graded to great center seats. Sometimes it was hard to hear when actors dropped their voices. Loved the staging!

I enjoyed the production very much. It was the preview show. There was a mechanical problem at the very beginning that caused the director to come running out from the back of the theater to explain that the show would restart as soon as it was...continued

It is a very talkie play, or I would have given it a fifth star.

The production was excellent, only a few preview "glitches".

Mother and Barbara were great.

So easy to get to from BART
