British contemporary instrumental and smooth jazz band Acoustic Alchemy, fronted by guitarists Greg Carmichael and Miles Gilderdale, had a hit with 1987's Red Dust and Spanish Lace, and have since scored a trio of Grammy nominations, including a nod for their 2001 release AArt. Vocalist/guitarist Steve Oliver is known for his upbeat and soulful performances, reflecting a range of influences from pop, rock and soul to contemporary jazz. His new hit song "Fun in the Sun," off his recent CD Global Kiss, was No. 1 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz and Indie charts for more than eight weeks.

both Steve Oliver and Acoustic Alchemy were great! I would go see them again in a heartbeat, and recommend this show to anyone! They were all very cordial and generous with their time after the show, taking pics
wwith us and signing CDs , etc.Again, props to Canyon for bringing in
such great acts!
