This time we made a dinner reservation at The Canyon. We all had steak and it was REALLY good. Very personable and accomodating waiter. Actually, all the employees seem to be that way. Ms. Nunn sounded great - what a range! She mentioned that she had recently had a bout of laryngitis, but it was not apparent at all. They played all the favorites, and some new stuff. They played for a little less than 90 mins. Second time at the Canyon, will definitely go again. America's playing there 10/26 - would be great if Goldstar.com offered tickets for that!Written on Oct 17 2007

I love this band. In fact, it is probably my all time favorite 80s band. Terri Nunn never disappoints. She is always so charming, sexy and charismatic on the stage. The only problem with the concert was the venue. Canyon Club seem notorious for having dinner tables blocking the stage area and this time they did it for the Berlin concert. Sorry, but who sits while Berlin is performing. Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Needless to say, I was not able to get up close and personal with the band, because the dinner tables were in the way. I think it is a way for Canyon to make more $$.Written on Dec 19 2009

A++ ... Wow. Great Show. Great Venue. Berlin was great and Terri Nunn looked and sounded AMAZING. Even better now then what I remember back in the 80s. It was so fun... I got a chance to re-live my youth... even found the last pack of clove cigarettes in the valley! (Back in the day we saw all the great KROQ bands at Magic Mountain) Cant wait to see them again.Written on Dec 14 2009

More Information About Berlin, Featuring Terri Nunn, in Concert
Description
Berlin was an essential component of the new wave and electronic music explosion of the early '80s. For nearly 10 years, the band not only challenged mainstream ideas of music and femininity, but rocked radio and sales charts with its brand of American electro-pop. Now, Berlin brings its signature style to The Canyon. Terri Nunn’s provocative image and her vocal style, steeped in anger, tenderness, sophistication and sensuality, continues to be a lasting influence among countless female singers. Berlin consistently wrote bold and unique pop songs including “Take my Breath Away,” “No More Words,” “Masquerade,” “Sex (I’m a ... ),” and “The Metro.”
