Great show. Great crowd. Amazing musicianship. Brilliant playing. In addition to being a literal encyclopedia of guitar playing, Carl was also very funny in between songs. Also on hand was his incredible rhythm section- very creative bass playing and drumming. That was one of the only drum solos I've ever seen when the entire crowd was completely into it. It was cool seeing Howard Leese play with them as well on a few tunes. The Canyon has some real great guest jams from time to time. The show was a real treat for all in attendance. Thanks to the Canyon and Goldstar for keeping real music like this out there....

They weren't as good as the last time they played here. The talkative crowd made it hard to hear the music (I think more people were there for the opener, who I didn't care for) and it wasn't a very inspiring performance (it was a repeat of last time, but not as good), although Wally was incredible on the drums and Dave did a very fine job on the bass.

Carl Verheyen and the band (along with guest Howard Leese) played as expected... incredible instrumentals. It was a great and memorable time. I do wish he'd bring along anyone with a voice to carry the singing.

Excellent show. Carl was playing fantastic. Great bass player. The drum solo was on of the best I have ever heard. On this night I was able to find a seat and the people next to me on both sides were amazed that they found seats too. Sometimes people are standing in front of the stage, filling the dance floor and your tickets for dining / sitting are a waste of money. Come expecting to stand for two hours. Great sound system, easy parking. Poor food, expensive drinks & lots of cops after the show. BUT, I do like this venue. Close to home and it's not Hollyweird.
