I was leary of attending this concert at the Canyon Club in particular since at least half or more of the reviews I read were very negative, saying the staff was rude, acoustics bad and other negative comments. However, my experience was not negative but rather quite enjoyable and love, love, love Ottmar Liebert.Written on Sep 15 2008

Otmar Liebert's music is very gentle and soothing. I think he needs to spice it up, pick up the rhythm, and interact a little bit more with the audiece. He is indeed a man of very few words. Sitting there from 9-11 listening to his music got a bit to restless. There was very little change in the sound, except for when he switched to an electric guitar....I was a bit more enthusiastic. I have lots of his CD's. I don't think I'll go to see him again, b/c his CD's are better!!!!Written on Jun 29 2004

The food is very average and has gone downhill over the past year. Still like the setting of the place though!!!
