Journey tribute band Lights and Def Leppard tribute band Pyromania perform at The Canyon. Robert Schimmel's big break came when Rodney Dangerfield spotted him and invited him to appear on HBO's Young Comedians Special. Since then he has gone on to appear on Conan O'Brien, The Simpsons, Comic Strip Live, Joan Rivers, and Oprah. I had a great time at this event. Both bands were very fun and I would definitely go again. So far I have seen 4 tribute bands at the Canyon and all have been really good.
Great show. Good bands. Highly recommend catching them again if they come near you. Lights old singer has a new band called Don't stop believing and they are solid. Journey fans rejoice.
Pyromania was excellent and I would see them again. The lead singer had a great voice and stage presence. I could see him doing a tribute to Led Zeppelin.
Lights were OK. The voice of the lead singer was electronically enhanced which gave a very high pitched sound to his voice. All of us in our group had to wear ear plugs. I would not go to see them again.
