musical icons? Really! There was not one original member of the band. They amount to a nice tribute band.Written on Sep 18 2010

Although the show started off with a few minor gliches, they were worked out quickly! I forgot how many great songs they have, and was singing right along! The new stuff isn't bad! I had a great time....!Written on Mar 06 2009

having seen them 4 times before, this was their worst perfomance. They appeared bored and went thru the machinations of their songs. Wayne Nelson chewed gum thru the whole time. They introduced everyone several times to eat up time and they did these long, drawn out guitar solos. The new material was boring. Some of the songs were slower than the original tempo which dragged the whole momentum. The drummer, technically good was the wrong guy for this band. The lead guitarist was expressionless and the blues riffs went on forever. The pianist brought his little Yamaha 6 so there was very little backup heard. He would play a larger version of an OCarina around his neck but it was totally out of place. Yeah, they even knew they sucked after the first few songs as the crowd was not into it and they even remarked,"aren't you guys enjoying us?"Written on Feb 09 2009

I wasn't expecting a fantastic show, so I really don't think my hopes were inflated. After experiencing the whole show, I (along with my friends who attended with me) thought it was okay. They do perform many songs that we grew up listening to, and it brought back a lot of memories. My two biggest criticisms were 1) Why on earth did they start off by performing three new songs in a row? I understand they want to get them into the show somewhere - but to start off with 3 in a row seemed to set a pretty bad tone (no pun intended). 2) There were some serious sound issues when the concert began. I'm definitely a musical novice, but even I could tell there were problems (too much feedback, bass mix wasn't right, timing was off, etc.).Written on Feb 09 2009
They eventually got it worked out and really ended strong with some good songs where everyone was singing along and enjoying. Overall, it was okay - however I would not see them again.
