What can you say about seeing X 30 years later? F..kin amazing show great energy . Love them like always and if you have the chance to see the orignail members go see them. Also you should catch any John Doe show or even a Dave Alvin show.

The fact is, no one sounds like X and no one ever will. X was not only one of the most influential bands to crash out of the punk movement of the late ‘70s, but the band’s music continues to be sonically groundbreaking today. Songs written during the group’s inception are as relevant and inventive today as they were in 1977. X's first two studio albums, Los Angeles and Wild Gift, were ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as being among the 500 greatest albums of all time.

December 15, 2011: Opening sets by Sean Wheeler & Zander Schloss and The Black Tibetans. The first band is scheduled for 7:00pm, with X taking the stage at 9:00pm.
