Mindi Abair is an incredible artist and she rocked The Canyon. Show started at 8pm until almost 10pm. My friend and I would have gladly listened to her for another 2 hours. The Canyon is a great venue or is it that Mindi made The Canyon a great venue? I think it is the latter!!! This is a new series of Smooth Jazz to take place on Wednesday at The Canyon. You can count on me and my friends being there as many Wednesdays as possible! The food at The Canyon could stand some improvement. Good thing the drinks are good.Written on Sep 16 2011

Nice venue with an intimate crowd. Good view and sound helped make this a fun event. The band played several hours and Mindi signed autographs afterwards.Written on Sep 16 2011

Mindi Abair did a nice job in combining her other muscians into a mix of great songs. She incorporated her base and lead guitarist quite a bit. This gave a variety of music which I liked. I was pleasantly surprised that Mindi sang a couple of songs. She is a really good singer. Again, providing variety in her music and the actual show. Most of all, I love her playing on her sax. Mindi loves what she does which is evident in her movements and flow of the music. This is the first time I have seen her perform. I would definitely go again. Congratulations on a nice show!Written on Sep 15 2011
