Spend an entertaining, down-home evening with Kurt Sutton, performing as master storyteller Samuel Clemens a.k.a. Mark Twain, as he brings his one-man tribute to The Canyon. Sutton's family-friendly and very funny show includes a sing-along of period songs like "Down in the Valley" and "Old-Time Religion," along with theatrical enactments of beloved stories from Huckleberry Finn, Roughing It and more. Sutton's portrayal of Twain follows years of research into the great American writer and humorist's life and works, including the speaking tours that formed the roots of modern stand-up comedy. Martha sounded great and she can still belt out the tunes... Her band played a pretty short set. Admittedly, I was kind of bored with the newer songs, but their greatest hits were really good. The last two songs were perfect- great way to end a show- we're glad we went....
