New Wave icons Martha Davis and the Motels had top ten hits with "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer," solidifying their position as one of the top bands of the early 80s. Davis' soulful vocals are instantly recognizable, as are many of the Motels' other hits, including "Take the L," "Shame," "Shock," "Icy Red" and "Mission of Mercy." The band continues to tour and record today, and they headline a show at The Canyon in Agoura Hills.

The Canyon welcomes Dick Dale. The legendary "King of the Surf Guitar" is credited with inventing the classic sound which inspired guitarists from Jimi Hendrix to Eddie Van Halen and beyond. Dale may be best known to modern audiences for his song "Misirlou", used as the opening theme in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. More than fifty years after his career began, Dale is still one of the hardest-rocking guitarists in America, and he's known for his high-energy live shows. Learn More

Fantastic show, from beginning to end. I loved the old songs and the new. Quite a wonderful surprise. Martha Davis sounds as good and looks at cool as ever. One of my best concert experiences.

Martha Davis still sounds great and is entertaining. The guys who were backing her up at the concert I went to did a good job playing the songs and maintaining the Motels sound.

Martha sounded great and she can still belt out the tunes... Her band played a pretty short set. Admittedly, I was kind of bored with the newer songs, but their greatest hits were really good. The last two songs were perfect- great way to end a show- we're glad we went....
