The Canyon welcomes Hollywood U2. Arguably the world's best and most accurate U2 tribute act, Hollywood U2 have toured extensively across the country and overseas. The venue was absolutely adorable, we will definitely be going back for other cover bands. This band was good, not great. they had some of the songs down, but their movements were off...Not that they need to be spot on, but if you're looking for a mirror image of u2, this isnt it. They do have great voices, though and really know how to pump up the crowd.
I'm the # 1 U2 fan of all time. I have a special relationshhip with them going back to their very begging in 1982. The fist time I heard them was on KROQ and instantly fell in love with them. I remember some of the very early small club gigs where Bono would jump off the stage into the crowd and just get us in a frenzy. I have been lucky to meet them and have been backstage many times (I have connections,,trust me.) I live next to Edges house in Malibu. So their were some GIANT shoes to fill..I was very irrritated they came on 2 hours late and that was my only complaint. The wait was worth it however.. THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!
The show started l 1/2 hour late. No explanations?? Accoustic need improvement. Otherwise, the performance was great.
A great band. Looked and sounded like U2. However, they did not take the stage until 10:00, an hour and a half later than they were supposed to start. There was no band on before them so I had to wait an hour and a half with no music and no band. Some people left because they did not start on time.
Once they went on stage.. only an hour and a half later than expected they were great. It felt like i was actually at a real U2 concert. The concert was almost 2 hours. Played old and new songs.
I liked it but I was not happy that we had to sit there until they went on at 10:00 p.m. with no notification that the other band had to cancel. Also I wish they would have played the older music.
The band was very good. The only problem was that the concert started about an hour and a half late.
I saw this band previously and enjoyed their last performance better. Not only that the event info said start time of 8:30pm and they did not even go on until 10:00pm. Which was kind of an inconvenience since I plnned it perfect to get there at 7:00pm to eat dinner and then watch the show, and ended up sitting there twiddling my thumbs for 2 hours instead.
Most accurate U2 Coverband ever. I have seend them 7 times. Love it when the belly dancer jumps in.
Hollywood U2 is the next best thing from the "real U2." So much like the real band you almost forget that it isn't them...they even have a bellydancer for "Mysterious Ways." This was my second time seeing them but it won't be the last...
Almost better than the real thing... No but it 's a great hold me over for die hard U2 fans.. The Canyon is always great!

The Hollywood U2 concert in Agoura Hills was fabulous! The band played a mixture of recent and older songs, and the music/vocals were of high quality.
We did not catch Cactus Grove, and did see the set done by Blonday, which was also entertaining. We saw stayed for the first to songs by No Duh, but overall Hollywood U2 blew the other bands out of the water.
Show started a little after 8. Only our second time at "The Canyon", but the food is really very good.
Warmup band consisted of some excellent musicians, and then the second act was "Blonde" a tribute band to Blondie, that did a nice job. Didn't get to stay for the entire performance of "Hollywood U2" as my wife was very tired, but what we did catch was quite good.
Excellent, fun - First Band was Great, Blonde was Fantastic, U2 exceeded everything!
FOr a cover band, there are pretty good. I would go again any time they have a concert nearby.
This guy NAILED Bono. The venue is great as is the atmosphere and food.
