Special guest stars Ethan and Nikki White, finalists in Paula Abdul's Live to Dance join a cast of more than 100 dancers to bring Alameda Civic Ballet's The Nutcracker to life. The Whites will play the Snow King and Queen in the ninth annual production of the magical holiday ballet. Set to Tchaikovsky's timeless score, the audience follows young Clara and her Nutcracker prince on a Christmas night journey that begins with an epic battle against the Mouse King, through the Land of the Snowflakes to the Kingdom of Sweets, ruled by the enchanting Sugar Plum Fairy. Choreographed by Artistic Director Abra Rudisill with gorgeous costumes and beautiful sets, ACB's production of The Nutcracker is sure to become a holiday tradition, if it isn't one already.
