Dvorak, Symphony No. 8
The symphony will perform the Oscar-nominated score from the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice. Composer Dario Marianelli also scored V for Vendetta and won the Oscar for Best Original Score in 2007 for Atonement.
Tommy Fallon was the first countertenor winner in the 1992 Luciano Pavarotti Competition in Philadelphia, and also the winner of the 1994 Alfredo Kraus Competition in the Canary Islands, and the 1995 Maria Callas Competition in Athens, Greece.
