The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra opens its new season with the multidisciplinary O' Inner Voice. Critically-acclaimed Bowen McCauley Dance joins the ASO for Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Brahms' Piano Concerto #1 (Mvt. 1), featuring local favorite Jeffrey Watson on piano. Also included on the program will be selections from Massenet, Vaughan Williams and Brahms.

Kim Allen Kluge leads the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra in a concert featuring the works of Mendelssohn and Stravinsky. The concert is the culmination of a weeklong residency by internationally renowned violinist Midori, during which she will visit Alexandria-area schools. Midori will be the featured violinist for Mendelssohn's popular Concerto for Violin, and the orchestra will also perform Stravinsky's Firebird Suite from his ballet The Firebird. Learn More

The seats were great - the Alexandria Symphony's musical selections delightful - and the Bowen-McCauley Dancers added a special dimension to the enjoyment of the music.

Critically-acclaimed Bowen McCauley Dance joins the ASO for Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Brahms’ Piano Concerto #1 (Mvt. 1) also featuring local favorite Jeffrey Watson, piano. Massenet’s Meditation from Thais, Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, and Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn are also included on the program.</p>
