Garrick's performance was masterful. It was my 1st time experiencing the Alexandria Symphoney Orchestra and it was a memorable performance.Written on May 17 2011
I don't recommend the 1st 4 rows in the orchestra seating at this hall, they actually sit below the stage and are very uncomfortable unless you like looking at the underside of a piano. We were fortunate to have found other unspoken for seats a few rows back.

Ohlsson's performance was note-perfect, but he played it safe and did not take risks, especially in the third movement. Great tone, but it lacked fire. At times the orchestra was not with him, but overall was a good performance.Written on May 16 2011
Mahler's symphony was done excellently.
