The performance center at the Northern Virginia Community College Campus (Schlessinger Auditorium) is just wonderful. No bad seats, good pitch so no head blocks and wonderful acoustics. Free parking in the multi level garage is another bonus.Written on Oct 26 2009
This was my first time hearing Coralis and they were terrific. I'm sorry that I will not be here for the Christmas performances.

Description
The acclaimed choral group, Choralis, under its Artistic Director, Gretchen Kuhrmann, will present Carl Orff’s dramatic work Carmina Burana at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center on Saturday, October 24. Sharing the billing for the evening’s performance, Gisele Becker will lead the George Washington University Singers in Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms.
Soloists include Lisa Eden, Soprano, Roger Isaacs, Countertenor, and Tad Czyzewski, Baritone. The Choralis Cantus Primo Children’s Choir will also appear singing the Regazzi portion of Carmina Burana. Choralis draws singers and audience from the entire Washington metro area—Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia—and has garnered praise from both patrons and the music press during its first nine seasons. The GW University Singers is a mixed choir of approximately 65 GW undergrads and graduated students.
