*April 5, 2013 at 7:00pm: Swing Lesson and Party
*It’s no secret that swing is one of the most popular dance styles around, and our instructors will guide you step by step as you dance to the energetic rhythms. The swing dance is not a single form/kind of dance but a group of various dances that were largely influenced by different types of dances, dancing styles, cultures and traditions; therefore, one can see a lot of variety in this form of dance. Whether you’re a novice or have a few swing moves under your belt, you’ll definitely have a fun time! The venue for tonight’s event is Dance Studio Lioudmila, a first-class dance facility in operation since 2000. The 4000+ square-foot hardwood floor is one of the largest and cleanest in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and parking is conveniently located next to the building.
Your ticket includes the lesson, dance party following the lesson and refreshments.
Dancers of all levels are welcome at this event, and you don’t need to bring a partner.
