It was a lovely experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, much better than we expected, since we took the cruise just for the experience of being on the river. The food was as good as if we were at a nice restaurant. The only negative was that because of strong currents, we could not go up to the tidal bastion and cruise around the monuments. We also enjoyed the piano music during dinner and the dancing after dinner was a lot of fun. All in all a great trip and we will definitely do it again if we get back to Washington D.C.

**Nice to do ONCE**

The ride was great, the crew was really nice, the night view was lovely, and my beau and I really enjoyed our evening - the overall experience was good. However, there were a few things that made it less than spectacular:

-The food was just okay (def not worth the money)
-There was no live music (we still danced though)
-It was cold on the boat (as in the thermostat INSIDE read 60 degrees). I wore a dress and I had to keep my coat on the whole time!
-A lot of hidden expenses. Extra service fees, drinks, etc.; also, expect to pay gratuity on the full price.
- The crew tried to charge us twice for the cruise; luckily we brought our Goldstar receipt to show we had already paid.

Bottom line - this was worth it (for the overall experience) to do ONE TIME. We won't be spending money on this again though. (We might try a different company at a later date.)

It was a good and delightful event, including the crew, staff, services, food and the music. We hope we can do it again.

The food was good however, the music was best at the end with a cd. pianists playing made for a very dry cruise.
