Excellent show...very romantic
Another great find and deal from GoldStar. The venue and performance were well worth the money. I would highly recommend this event to anyone who enjoys the Opera or who has never experienced it.
A satisfying concert. Alexandria Symphony is to be commended for it's partnership with the Opera Theatre of Northern Virginia, and for showcasing a fine group of young (or young-ish) singers. The Ravel L'Heure espangnole was light and comic. The soloists each managed to convey their characters, in spite of the limitations of a concert format. The familiar music of Puccini in the second half was warmly received.
