The show was good. The acting superb and the staging excellent. Act II Playhouse is
a very small but comfortable venue. We enjoyed two of our favorite local actors - Tony
Braithwaite and Jeff Coons. Definitely worth the trip to Ambler.
Lend Me a Tenor is a madcap screwball comedy that takes place when Tito Merelli (Jeffrey Coon), the fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, goes missing just as he's to make his debut with a local opera company. As the show's presenter (Tony Braithwaite) conspires to cover for Tito's absence, placate his hot-blooded wife (Tracie Higgins), and distract his passionate fans, chaos on a truly operatic level ensues!
