My wife had never heard of Jim so I knew she was in for a treat. After the show she had nothing but good things to say about the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed the show myself. There was a hard laugh about every 25 seconds. Great job Jim!
As a stand-up comedian and actor, Gaffigan’s clever, quiet style has earned him an extraordinary number of appearances on both CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman and NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brian. He has also starred alongside Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show and played a recurring on the FOX sitcom That ‘70s Show. Sex & the City fans may remember him as Doug, the man character Miranda Hobbes briefly dates before dumping because she just can’t get used to his bathroom intimacy. Jim currently plays the role of Andy on TBS’s My Boys which first aired on the network in 2006 and is its first scripted comedy. The sitcom recently wrapped up its third season.
Jim Gaffigan’s film roles include the cult-classic Supertroopers! (remember him, meow?!), 13 Going on 30, The Great New Wonderful and The Living Wake. He also is a recognizable face from his numerous award-winning television ad campaigns, which include Sierra Mist, ESPN, Saturn and Rolling Rock. His commercial presence earned him Business Week’s 1999 "Salesman of the Year" honor.
