The Anaheim Ducks gear up for a new year of NHL action with four preseason games at the Honda Center. Last season, the Ducks' Corey Perry led the league in scoring, earning the Hart Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player and pacing the team to a fourth-place finish in the Western Conference. This year, Perry is back on the line for the Ducks, alongside fellow forwards Ryan Getzlaf and Bobby Ryan and All-Star goalie Jonas Hiller. They kick off the preseason with a game against the Phoenix Coyotes, then face Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks, who finished second in the conference last year. Their third home preseason game is against the Vancouver Canucks, who made it to the Stanley Cup last year behind the duo of Henrik and Daniel Sedin. Finally, the Ducks face off against their Southern California rivals when Drew Doughty, Anze Kopitar and the Los Angeles Kings come to town.
