She's so funny - we had a great time. I wish our seats were closer (lots of empty tables in the row in front of us) but you can't beat a night out for that price! Great show!

We had a great time at the event the tables were banquet style with assigned seats and we were in the last row but it is such a nice small place that we could see and hear great. (except for the guy across the table who talked through the whole thing but I can't blame the venue or goldstar for that.) She was hysterical and the opening act was good too. I lauged so hard I could hardly breathe. We had a cocktail and pretzel beforehand there is some mention of dinner being available on the Grove website but all we saw were pretzels or nachos. After the show we were out of the parking lot (parking was $8) in a flash.

We enjoyed Kathleen Madigan and her opening act, a male comedian. The seats, however, were pretty bad. The positive - we were straight back from the center of the stage. The negative - we had the second and third seats from the back of the auditorium. The showroom was quite large for a comedian, and being at the back of it, we were not able to see her very well. They did have 2 large tv screens which were what we watched. However, if we wanted to watch the show on tv, we would have stayed home and saved the ticket costs and parking fee. Another negative is the table setup. They had large rectangular tables with your side facing the stage (Las Vegas showroom style). So, if you are at the back of the table, there are many heads to dodge to try to get a glimse of the performer. Also, late arrivals were seated at our table while the show was in progress. Their talking caused us to miss a bit of the show. There were empty tables on each side of our table so these late arrivals could easily have been seated at one of the empty tables without disrupting our table. My advice would be not to buy Goldstar tickets for this venue unless you know beforehand where you will be seated. To be fair to Goldstar, this is the first time we have had bad seats after approximately 16 purchases.
