The Grove is a challenging space to play in, and seating is uncomfortable since dinner tables are set up so that you end up sitting perpendicular to the stage. NBC’s new Late Night talk show host Jimmy Fallon will perform a night of stand up comedy at the Grove of Anaheim. Long a renowned comic talent, Jimmy Fallon’s ability to deliver versatile, standout performances on the screen has allowed him to join the exclusive ranks as one of the Saturday Night Live alumni at the forefront of a diverse line-up of television and film projects – while always staying grounded in his stand-up roots.
Jimmy Fallon’s career has stretched immensely since 1998 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live and quickly became an audience favorite for his impressions of Jerry Seinfeld, John Travolta, and Adam Sandler, as well as spot-on musical impressions of Justin Timberlake, Jack White, and Enrique Iglesias. Fallon keeps climbing the ladder of comedic success taking on rolls in TV, Film and hosting several MTV awards shows including MTV Movie Awards in 2005 and MTV Video Music Awards in 2002. His film credits include the Cameron Crowe rock ‘n roll road film, Almost Famous, and Woody Allen’s Anything Else with Christina Ricci. He’s also starred with Queen Latifah in the action-comedy Taxi and opposite Drew Barrymore in the blockbuster romantic comedy Fever Pitch. Most recently, Fallon starred with Lucy Liu in the comedy The Year of Getting to Know Us, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Most recently, Jimmy Fallon has taken over the host seat on NBC’s Late Night, which airs weeknights at 12:35 am from New York City.
