The small intimate venue was a pleasant quiet place to visit during the week and the photos are nicely displayed along the walls and staircase. As an amateur photographer and avid traveler, the exhibition stimulated my interest in trying new photographic techniques, brought back memories of places already visited and provided inspiration to travel to new locales. The photographs are for sale but no prices are posted which I like as it makes for a more professional exhibition.Written on Mar 28 2011

Some excellent photos of people and places around the world.Written on Apr 05 2011
In another museum building is a very interesting exhibit on Pre Colombian gold from Panama and a fascinating exhibit on the California
Gold Rush...make sure you have enough time to read the well written d display information..and learn all about the foreign miners tax and treatment of native American Indians and foreigners in the gold fields.

There are some fantastic photos and some other regulars pictures mostly amateurs without an specific technique. I'm not against digital alteration but for this subject (journeys) there are son pictures that used this option and in my opinion they don't look good in this kind of exposition. Anyway the visit was pleasant and I could also see the Gold exposition.Written on Apr 18 2011

Description
Journeys, A Photographic Exhibition, represents the work of forty-eight fine-art photographers from The Photographic Society of Orange County. You will be able to experience the people and geography from many familiar and not-so-familiar places as you view this collection of 110 photographs which represent 56 countries. We hope you will feel the sense of adventure as you see such scenes as the Evening Light on Macchhapuchhre in Nepal, Himba Woman in Namibia, The Singing Dunes in Mongolia, and a Baby Gorilla in Rwanda! The selection of images celebrates the diversity of people and geography in this world of adventure we live in, as expressed in the collective vision of these fine photographers.
