Spanish Ska-Punk Show Maska-Fiesta at House of Blues
Three great Spanish-language ska-punk bands perform on one high-energy show at the House of Blues... and they call it Maska-Fiesta. Mexico City's Maskatesta headlines the show, and they're celebrating the release of their new album. They've recently been seen touring with Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Los Straitjackets, and with a crowd-pleasing style that blends classic, two-tone and third-wave ska with surf rock and reggae influences, they've developed a reputation as a really entertaining live act. South L.A.'s own Chencha Berrinches are also scheduled to perform, as are Raskahuele.

Parking is a nightmare and all routes lead to the exit. We had to go around 3 times before we could get to an area with available spots. Wear comfy walking shoes. Very few disabled parking spots, which hurt me because I have a foot injury :/. Only good thing was, because the show got out so late the exit gates were open and nobody had to pay for parking :).The Atomic Punks: A Tribute to Early Van Halen info • Sep 16 2014 star this tip starred
