Matisyahu and The Dirty Heads: Reggae-Rockers Live in Anaheim
One of the most unique voices in music today, Matisyahu is a Grammy-nominated reggae musician who fuses the traditional sounds of that genre with rock, house, hip-hop and dub, in addition to singing freely about his Jewish faith. Matisyahu burst onto the scene with his hit single "King Without a Crown" and since has produced several acclaimed albums, including this year's Spark Seeker, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. The Dirty Heads deliver an energetic blend of rock, reggae and hip-hop reminiscent of Sublime. Displaying their SoCal roots proudly, the band's signature carefree attitude shines through on their latest album Cabin by the Sea. Pacific Dub opens the show.

The Grove is a challenging space to play in, and seating is uncomfortable since dinner tables are set up so that you end up sitting perpendicular to the stage. Certainly you can move your chair, but if it's a full house, it is hard to maneuver so that you are not blocking people.Shawn Colvin & Steve Earle: Songs & Stories, Together On Stage info • Jul 14 2014 star this tip starred
