Firstly everything for this event went smoothly, the tickets were at the counter and although we had gone to see Miradas, it was recommended to us that we start in the Divine Reflections exhibit which featured Russian Icons from the 17th to 20th century, so we did. Beautiful things, and I liked the way they had everything displayed and there were a lot of interesting anecdotes accompanying the pieces, we definitely enjoyed this exhibit. After we walked across the sidewalk to the building that had Miradas, they told us to walk down to the right first then come up the stairs so that's what we did. There were some very interesting black and white photographs along the stairs and the rest of the pieces are divided into 2 rooms upstairs. The Tamayo's were great, I love his dog piece and I wanted to take the watermelons home with me. The rest of the pieces were lovely as well, but I don't think the exhibit was as well put together as the Russian Icons- I understand it is more difficult as the Icons are more similar to each other overall, but still. Also, if you think you are going to see some massive Rivera or even a color one, you are mistaken. There is only one small one. Actually, few of the artists had more than one piece shown. Regardless, since you get both exhibits anyway, I think it's worth the ticket.

Did not know this venue existed. Impressed! The Miradas Exhibit was limited, in my estimation. What was presented was done well, just not what I thought it was going to be. Did not realize the Russian Icons/Paintings were also being exhibited as it was not mentioned with the Miradas event through Gold Star. That exhibit was extensive, extremely well done, and informative. Would recommend the Muzeo, the Miradas (just be prepared for a small exhibit) and definitely the Russian Icons. Film presentation at the beginning of that exhibit was lengthy, but excellent in providing information regarding Russian painters. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Well worth the price.

I agree with the other review posted on here. The Miradas exhibit was on the small side, but still interesting. But the other exhibit, Divine Reflections had much much more interesting icons, etc. Overall the whole event was nice for the price.
