At first, I was only going to give 2 stars, but ultimately decided on 3 stars. Don't get me wrong, the band was great (as was the opening band Suedehead), and deserves 5 stars. Played a decent mix of new and old stuff, and both hits as well as lesser-known songs. However, it's the first time I've seen them where everybody wasn't standing up and dancing for the whole show. Someone in the tier just in front of my table stood up at the start of the show, and someone behind them immediately started throwing napkins at them :-/ What did people expect, when they go to see a band often described as "one of the greatest party bands of all time"? However, I guess someone could just as easily say that you should expect people at a "dinner theater" would want to sit down throughout the show no matter what. I guess maybe people were thrown off when the setlist wasn't comprised of only the band's greatest hits. Or maybe it's just the way people in "the OC" are . . .Written on Jan 17 2012
