We had a great time! The band really connected with us and the venue was easy to attend from parking ($10.00) to seats. I'll stand near the stage next time, better view and more party! We will definitely see them again!Written on Jun 14 2011

The Dan Band is awesome, but it was very hard hearing their lyrics at The Grove. We got the gist of what they were doing, but could not appreciate the full impact of their act without hearing the words. Also, eventhough we knew that it would be standing room only, it is tough standing for that long (the band started 1/2 hour late).Written on Jul 29 2010

Description
Los Angeles’s premier comedy band, The Dan Band, comes to the Grove of Anaheim. Known for their explicit covers of female-performed pop songs, The Dan Band’s live show has become a staple of Los Angeles nightlife.
The Dan Band was created by actor/comedian Dan Finnerty and has appeared in multiple hilarious comedy films such as Old School (who could ever forget their memorable wedding reception performance of Bonnie Tyler's “Total Eclipse of the Heart”?), Starsky & Hutch, and most recently The Hangover. The band is also well known for their expletive-heavy versions of "Lady" by Styx, "Milkshake" by Kelis, Toni Basil's "Mickey," and many others.
Finnerty and The Dan Band put on a show that is equal parts high-energy singing, dancing and blowing the audience’s collective mind. Entertainment Weekly has dubbed The Dan Band “the hottest ticket in town.”
In Spring 2005, Finnerty’s spectacular live performance was captured in a Bravo special executive-produced by none other than Steven Spielberg and directed by Charlie’s Angels director McG in 2006 entitled Dan Finnerty & the Dan Band: I Am Woman.
Finnerty, a former member of the group Stomp, has released two CDs. The Dan Band Live and Ho - A Dan Band Christmas. The Dan Band is a must see show for anyone looking for entertainment and a good laugh.
