War's lyrics may often be political in nature, but their music has always retained the laid-back vibe of their Southern California roots. The enduring band has been honored with 17 gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards since its formation in 1969. The Fenians have been my favorite Irish band since I first saw them at the Orange Circle International Food Fair. I have been following them ever since! The only criticism that I have is that I wish they started a lot earlier than 9:30pm. Monday is a work day for most & we had to leave during the encore, which was at 11:30pm. I would have loved to stay, but my ride had to work early & I totally understood. If it says 8pm & then they should have started at 8:30pm, by the latest...even with an opening act.
