Was really disappointed in the seating design of the Grove; which, was eye level seating. Couldn't see the ballet on stage, had to watch it from the big screen TV on the side of the stage. The color was bad, I could have stayed at home and watched the Nutcracker on my TV. I will never attend another event at the Grove in Anaheim. The people that could see the ballet on stage really loved it. A very disappointing experience.Written on Dec 06 2010

All three of my granddaughters enjoyed the performance, and there was a nice selection of snacks offered at intermission. Also, there is a nice room where we could sit and relax before the performance or during intermission.Written on Jan 02 2012

The show was great! The dancers were excellent, and the scenery was beautiful. I will certainly think about going back next year. I forgot that the Grove doesn't really have tiered seating, so being in the back made it hard to see, but thye did have screens up for those of us in the back.Written on Dec 07 2010

With regard to the venue itself, I agree with the other reviews...a poor seating arrangement for a ballet performance. I could hardly see the dancers at all!! Not much to get very excited about . . . except for the young girl who danced the part of "Clara." She's obviously gifted and could have a wonderful future as a professional dancer. This is the first time I've seen the Anaheim Ballet company perform, and since this theater didn't show them off very well, I went away rather disappointed.Written on Dec 06 2010
