Blind housewife Susy Hendrix is terrorized in her apartment by a band of criminals who believe she has the heroin-stuffed doll they smuggled into the country. But Susy's no helpless victim. She manages to kill the lights, leveling the playing field and creating a truly terrifying game of cat-and-mouse. Originally produced on Broadway in 1966 and made into an Audrey Hepburn film a year later, Wait Until Dark is an electrifying thriller by Frederick Knott, the playwright behind Dial M for Murder. I have never been to such a small theater. I think the venue seats 50 people. The close proximity to the performers lends itself to a unique experience. From the moment you walk into the venue everyone in our party was made to feel very welcome. The performers sang well and and the songs were funny. The theater is in a business complex with plenty of free parking. They offer some light snacks and beverages. All of which are $1. Very affordable. Everyone in our group had a good time. Nice way to kick off the holiday season at an affordable price.
